Fall is here. The Rocky Mountain air has turned crisp in the evenings, folks are back from vacation and everywhere you look, people are busy. Me, too!
I have a new site, new focus, and new energy all with one idea in mind: the power of joy to transform our life at work, at home and in our community.
I hope you’ll subscribe to my new blog, Speaking of Joy. It’s a weekly missive about finding joy each day -- not always an easy task.
Life is messy. Demanding deadlines, endless errands and missing socks are ever-present. Add to that every ping, ring and tweet and it's easy to live distracted which means often missing the joy in every day.
Fortunately, life has a refresh button - and you can hit it, too! Every day is a free do-over card or as my dear friend Janie liked to say, our take-two. This is my take-two and it's been a journey down more than a few rabbit holes, up quite a few creeks and into more than one dead end; but, I've finally found the right rabbit hole, the right creek and no dead ends in sight.
Science calls it "flow" -- the energy, the excitement, the hands on the clock flying around the dial. My work life has always been a blessing and I'm grateful for those yesterdays; but, I’m different now and I'm excited about sharing this next bend in the road with you.
There is so much to know about the power joy has to change our life and the lives of those who flow in and out of our life every day. And finding joy is not always an easy gig.
The truth is this: joy takes work. The good news is that the work is good for us and anyone can do it.
I look forward to doing the work together!
Until next week, I hope your life is full of joy & gratitude,
