The short story....35 years as an executive for big name brands. Twenty years with companies like Macy's, Foley's, the NBA's Houston Rockets and Houston Ballet. And another 15 years in media as chief marketing officer for The Rocky Mountain News and corporate marketing director for newspaper division of The E. W. Scripps Company.
Linda's work today includes:

- and always learning more about how we can actively increase joy in the midst of challenge and catastrophe.
A distinguished alumna and graduate of Texas Tech University, Linda has her Certification in Positive Psychology under the direction of Harvard professor Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar through the Kripalu Center in Lennox, Massachusetts. She has her Certification in the Science of Happiness through Berkeley University in California and she is a member of the Colorado chapter of the National Speaker's Association.
Linda serves on the National Board of Directors for the Texas Tech School of Media & Communications and has served on the Board of Directors for the Children's Museum of Denver; Denver Junior Achievement; and the Downtown Denver Partnership. She is the recipient of numerous honors including: Ad Age/NAA Marketer of the Year; Girl Scout Woman of Distinction; Wishmaker Award from the Make-A-Wish Foundation; National Silver Leadership Award from Junior Achievement; and the National ADL Norman Newhouse Human Relations Communications Award.
A wife and mother to one daughter and two sons, Linda loves family time and friends and heads to the Rocky Mountains as often as possible. She enjoys skiing in the winter, golf in the summer and when there's time, she's obsessed with painting, gardening and interior design. And then there are her dogs - official residents Atticus, Scout and Boo plus visiting grand-pups Bandit, Ralphie and Gus. Yes, she loves dogs and the happiness they bring!
